The Continuing Education Programs of the M-OCDS

A successful general dentist, Matthew Girardy holds a doctor of dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, from which he graduated as one of the top students in his class. To remain connected with his peers and engaged in developing his dentistry skills, Matthew Girardy engages with the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine continuing education program, as well as the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society (M-OCDS).

The M-OCDS is a component society of the New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA) and the American Dental Association, and it currently counts over 600 members. As a component society of the NJDA, the M-OCDS is for dental professionals practicing in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

The continuing education programs for M-OCDS members are offered through the Saint Barnabas Health Care System Monmouth Medical Center Sam Elbaum Education Program and the Jersey Shore University Medical Center continuing dental education (JSUMC CDE) program.

On April 22, for example, Dr. Gerard Chiche will offer an esthetic rehabilitation program through the JSUMC. The classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the JSUMC John K. Lloyd Amphitheater.
