A graduate of Bernards High School in Bernardsville, New Jersey, Matthew Girardy left the state to secure a bachelor of arts in behavioral neuroscience from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and a doctor of dental surgery from the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) in Philadelphia. As an undergraduate, he earned a Lehigh Scholarship and made the National Dean’s List. While attending UPenn, Matthew Girardy completed externships at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Philadelphia and the Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Girardy returned to New Jersey after graduation to complete a general practice residency at the Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Over the course of his career as a practicing New Jersey dentist, he served three years with Hazlet Family Dental in Hazlet and four years with Toms River Family Dental in Toms River. Since April 2019 Dr. Matthew Girardy has treated patients at Simply Beautiful Smiles in Rancocas and Dayton, New Jersey.
